Full Job Description Description:
The Quality Manager is the local Quality Assurance authority for Marand US and is responsible for the implementation, application, monitoring, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Marand Quality Management System (QMS) at the US site. The role ensures ongoing compliance with Marand's QMS requirements, customer-specific requirements, regulatory obligations, and applicable industry standards. The Quality Manager acts as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters involving customers, regulatory bodies, certification authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders within the USA operation. The position provides local governance, guidance, and oversight of quality processes and quality performance, while driving a culture of compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across the business.
Skills and Experiences:
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor or master's in quality or related field of study. Experience in a greenfield operation, establishing a quality management system and governance program including establishing performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of the QMS. A thorough understanding or experience with the requirements of
ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO
14001, and
ISO 45001.
Experience and/or training in planning and conducting internal audits, required. Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools, risk-based thinking, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision making. A thorough understanding of business management systems, with specific experience or training in management systems relating to Quality, OH&S, and Environment. A broad understanding of manufacturing processes and the manufacturing work environment relating to processes such as machining, welding, assembly wiring, commissioning, and servicing. General competency in using computers, including file management, operation of Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
