Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all activities and areas assigned. Coordinates closely with related departments to maintain schedules and effect necessary changes and revisions. Assigns, trains, directs, and appraises Quality Control personnel. Ensure that safety regulations are closely adhered to. Completes related documentation as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists QC Manager/Chief Inspector in developing short- and long-term goals and objectives. Provides suggestions and recommendations. Assumes responsibility for the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of all Quality Control inspections.
Effectively supervises assigned personnel, ensuring optimal performance. Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and management.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Manage Quality Control functions are coordinated and completed in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Ensuring good communication and effective working relations exist with other departments.
Quality Control operations are closely monitored and supervised. Suggestions for improved productivity are provided.
Ensuring related documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
Appropriately informs his superiors of activities and significant problems. Maintains company professionalism while ensuring direct reports maintain the same. Other duties as assigned by superior.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
FAA Airframe & Powerplant License, Airframe License
High school graduate or equivalent. 3+ years of experience as a supervisor 5+ years of experience working as an aircraft inspector.

Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance and installation functions, procedures, and standards. Knowledge of quality control standards and systems. Well organized with strong planning and management skills. Attention to detail. Quality orientation. Able to organize multiple projects. Strong problem-solving abilities. Able to use all related electrical and installation equipment and applications.
Must be able to read, write and speak Standard English for routine business correspondence and for producing work products.
