North Fort Worth, TX area

Compensation:

$130,000-$140,000 base, potentially higher for an exceptional candidate

Travel:

Regular travel to regional facilities in Texas and the Midwest Summary Our client is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to build and lead the quality function across multiple facilities within a growing metal fabrication, welding, and assembly division. This leader will establish consistent quality standards, develop site-level teams, and implement a scalable Quality Management System aligned with

ISO 9001.

The division is also expanding its fabrication capabilities and beginning to introduce lean practices, creating an opportunity to build stronger process discipline and continuous improvement across the operation. Key Responsibilities Build and develop effective quality teams across multiple fabrication and supply chain facilities. Establish a scalable QMS aligned with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and global quality standards. Standardize quality processes, documentation, KPIs, and performance expectations across all locations. Lead investigations into product and process non-conformances, including root cause analysis, CAPA, and verification of corrective actions. Lead internal audits and support

ISO 9001

certification and surveillance activities. Partner with Operations, Engineering, Global Quality, EHS, Procurement, and plant leadership to reduce risk and improve performance. Support lean manufacturing through structured problem-solving, process discipline, and continuous improvement. Present quality trends, risks, and improvement priorities to senior leadership. Build a culture of quality ownership and accountability throughout the operation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred. 8+ years of progressive quality experience within metal fabrication, welding, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products; Familiarity with welded and fabricated products is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success building or significantly improving quality systems, preferably across multiple facilities. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, audits, CAPA, root cause analysis, risk management, and quality metrics. Experience developing quality teams and influencing plant leadership. Experience supporting lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred. Ability to travel regularly to regional facilities; anticipated travel will be heavier early on and then taper back This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
