full-time About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead factory quality operations across incoming materials, production processes, finished products, suppliers, and customer quality. This is a shop-floor-based player-coach role, not a desk-based quality systems position. The Quality Manager must personally investigate significant defects, lead containment and root cause verification, and drive corrective actions through effective closure. Key Responsibilities Lead IQC, IPQC, FQC, and OQC activities and ensure inspection plans, specifications, sampling requirements, control plans, and acceptance criteria are consistently applied. Maintain a strong daily presence on the production floor and personally troubleshoot quality issues involving assembly, welding and brazing, leak testing, evacuation, refrigerant charging, electrical checks, functional testing, and run-in testing. Lead immediate containment, nonconforming product control, root cause analysis, CAPA, and effectiveness verification for defects such as refrigerant leaks, abnormal noise or vibration, water leaks, workmanship defects, and cooling-performance deviations. Monitor supplier quality performance, issue and close supplier corrective actions, support supplier audits, and prevent supplier-related risks from affecting production. Define final and outgoing inspection requirements, review release records, and ensure nonconforming products are contained before shipment. Manage customer inspections, complaints, returns, and field quality issues; independently lead 8D investigations through verified closure. Maintain

ISO 9001

controls, use quality data to reduce defects and cost of poor quality, and lead customer or third-party audit closure. Lead and develop the inspection team while personally executing critical quality work when production, shipment, or customer risk requires immediate action. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited full-time degree program. At least five years of hands-on Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager experience in equipment manufacturing. Proven experience personally resolving shop-floor quality problems; experience limited mainly to documentation, reporting, or administrative management does not meet this requirement. Strong knowledge of IQC, IPQC, FQC, OQC, 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, nonconformance control, and

?ISO16949. HVAC or air-conditioning manufacturing experience is preferred; major HVAC manufacturer experience is highly preferred. Professional working proficiency in English is required. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, strong teamwork, and effective cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.
