ORA_ON_SITE Description The MSCL Quality Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures all calibration services meet
NASA, ISO/IEC
17025, and aerospace industry requirements. The Quality Manager oversees quality assurance processes, internal audits, documentation control, nonconformance management, proficiency testing, and continuous improvement activities within the MSCL environment. This role ensures that calibration services provided to JSC programs are accurate, traceable, compliant, and delivered with the highest level of technical integrity. Assures appropriate inspection and resources in facilities and laboratories. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Ensures that work conforms to documented procedures and
ANSI/ISO/ASQ
(E) 9001-2015, and
SAE AS9100D
standards, including performing random and periodic quality assurance checks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field and a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a Safety and Quality related field. Knowledge of requirements and practices pertaining to Quality Assurance, OSHA, EPA, and Safety including the ability to interpret and implement defined center policies and processes. 5+ years of relevant experience in calibration laboratory, metrology, quality management, or aerospace-quality environments.
