full-time Clayton Services is searching for a Quality Supervisor - Manufacturing to join a thriving manufacturing company in the Humble, Texas area. The Quality Supervisor - Manufacturing will be responsible for leading plant quality programs, laboratory activities, management systems, audits, and continuous-improvement initiatives to ensure products and processes consistently meet customer and organizational requirements.

Manufacturing Responsibilities:

Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout manufacturing operations. Oversee inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Supervise laboratory testing and product-validation activities. Manage calibration, metrology, and measuring-equipment programs. Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and process deviations. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities. Develop, maintain, and improve quality-management procedures and documentation. Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party audits. Support ISO certification and management-system activities. Monitor quality KPIs and provide performance information to plant leadership. Support new-product qualification and manufacturing trials. Participate in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and related quality activities as applicable. Lead continuous-improvement and process-optimization initiatives. Develop and coach quality personnel while promoting a strong culture of quality throughout the operation. Quality Supervisor -

Manufacturing Skills and Abilities:

Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and related management systems. Familiarity with

ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO

17025, and

IATF 16949

is highly desirable. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, CAPA, and root-cause-analysis methodologies. Experience with laboratory operations, testing, metrology, and calibration. Strong analytical and statistical problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Strong documentation and audit-management skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. ERP and quality-system experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred. Ability to travel internationally for company-sponsored training. Manufacturing Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline preferred. Minimum 3 years of quality-management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience supervising laboratory, quality-control, or quality-assurance activities preferred. Experience conducting internal and external audits. Metals, wire and cable, extrusion, automotive, or heavy manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
