Type:

full-time The Quality & Integrated Management System Supervisor is responsible for leading the organization's Quality Management System, Laboratory Operations, ISO Certifications, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. This position ensures compliance with customer requirements, applicable regulations, international standards, and company policies while driving operational excellence, product quality, laboratory reliability, and organizational performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) .
  • Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001

standards and alignment with applicable laboratory and testing practices.

  • Document, maintain, and standardize plant processes, procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation required for manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure all documentation and technical records required for customer qualification, supplier approvals, and certification audits are properly maintained and updated.
  • Supervise the Quality Inspection and Laboratory teams , ensuring proper execution of product inspection, testing, and quality control processes.
  • Develop and implement quality strategies to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards .
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external quality audits , including certification audits and customer audits.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to non-conformities.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis related to customer complaints and product quality issues .
  • Establish and monitor quality performance indicators , including analysis of non-conforming products and quality trends.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure process consistency and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with quality documentation, operational permits, and regulatory requirements necessary for manufacturing activities in Houston.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
IV. EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Materials Science
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Or a related technical field
V. EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supervising quality inspection or laboratory teams .
  • Experience implementing and managing quality management systems in manufacturing operations .
  • Experience working with customer quality requirements and certification audits .
VI. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
  • Quality Management Systems - ISO 9001
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing environments and quality control processes
  • Root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
  • Statistical quality tools and quality performance analysis
  • Customer complaint management and corrective action processes
  • ERP systems and production quality data analysis
  • Statistical tools such as Minitab or similar (preferred)

  • Spanish - Required
  • Travel to Peru is required for training, operational alignment, and coordination with corporate teams.
  • The role supervises Quality Inspectors and Laboratory personnel and is responsible for ensuring proper implementation of quality systems, process documentation, certifications, and customer qualification requirements for the plant.
