Job Description

Join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects in mission-critical and hyperscale environments. As an MEP Superintendent, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems are installed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about quality execution, risk mitigation, and delivering operationally ready facilities. Work closely with construction, commissioning, and trade partners to promote a zero-defect culture and drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead the execution of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities for assigned project areas and disciplines. Verify that all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, manufacturer requirements, and project standards. Conduct field inspections, audits, and quality assessments across Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Controls, and Life Safety systems. Coordinate with Construction, MEP, and Commissioning teams to integrate quality requirements into daily operations. Monitor installation quality, identify deficiencies, and address non-conforming work and quality concerns. Manage and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch list items, and deficiency logs to ensure timely resolution. Support commissioning readiness by verifying systems are inspected, documented, and complete prior to testing. Review and validate inspection reports, test records, checklists, and turnover documentation. Participate in project meetings, planning sessions, and quality reviews to drive continuous improvement. Assist with root cause investigations and implement corrective actions as needed. Monitor quality metrics and provide regular status updates to project leadership. Support the training and development of QA/QC Engineers, Coordinators, and field personnel. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and building it right the first time. Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, military service, technical training, and industry experience will be considered. 5-8 years of experience in construction, QA/QC, commissioning, or related technical disciplines. Experience in mission-critical, hyperscale data center, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or large commercial construction projects preferred. Proven experience performing inspections, audits, testing support, and quality verification activities. Familiarity with commissioning processes, integrated systems testing, and turnover requirements is a plus. Industry certifications such as CQM, CQM-C, OSHA, ASQ, or related certifications are preferred. Strong understanding of QA/QC principles, inspection procedures, and quality management systems. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, life safety, and building systems. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, and manufacturer documentation. Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, field coordination, and organizational skills. Ability to identify quality risks and proactively implement corrective actions. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, CxAlloy, BIM platforms, and quality management software is preferred. Offered compensation:
$110,000/yr - $135,000/yr Experience and License Requirements Construction QA/QC Mission Critical/Data Center (optional) OSHA (optional)
