Audit Mastery:

Spearhead all regulatory ( FDA/USDA ), customer, and 3rd party

GFSI/SQF

audits, maintaining "Excellent"ratings through rigorous validation.

Cold-Chain Science:

Oversee CCPs specific to high-speed frozen manufacturing, including micro-testing, temperature stabilization, and thermal processing troubleshooting.

Technical ERP Management:

Manage complex formula creation, nutritional analysis, and specification writing within Microsoft Dynamics AX .

Production Partnership:

Act as the technical bridge between Operations, Procurement, and Warehousing to solve real-time industrial production challenges.

Lab & Sanitation Oversight:

Supervise the QA team and oversee facility-wide microbiological programs and heavy-duty sanitation cycles. Qualifications (The "Must-Haves"):

Industry Experience:

6-8 years of QA Leadership specifically within a Food Manufacturing Plant. (Experience with high-volume frozen foods, prepared meals, or industrial cold-chain environments is required).

Mandatory Certifications:

You must be an active SQF Practitioner with current HACCP Certification . PCQI certification is a significant plus.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry is strictly preferred.

Systems Expertise:

Professional proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred) and advanced mathematical skills for formula management and waste trending.

Bilingual Capability:

Fluency in English/Spanish is a significant advantage for floor-level leadership and training. The "Floor-First"
