Job Description The QC Specialist will be responsible for: Leading quality control across energy retrofit and construction projects. Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and safety standards. Coordinating testing, commissioning, inspections, and quality documentation. Reviewing materials, submittals, and installation quality. Managing subcontractor performance and resolving site issues. Supporting scheduling, estimating, reporting, and client communication. Overseeing commissioning, M&V, and O&M processes. Assisting with audits, scope development, and business development activities. The Successful Applicant A successful QC Specialist should have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 5+ years of construction quality control, field engineering, or related experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural construction. Experience with HVAC, controls, lighting, electrical, and building energy systems. Proven leadership and construction management experience. Energy retrofit, performance contracting, or ESCO experience preferred. Federal, military, or USACE project experience is advantageous.
