Feed Mill Location:
Broadway, VA 22815 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Coordinator to join our Feed Mill team in Broadway, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure that all feed products meet regulatory standards and company quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and implement quality assurance programs and procedures within the feed mill. Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to feed manufacturing. Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, test results, and corrective actions. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and management teams to address quality issues and implement improvements. Assist in training employees on quality standards and best practices. Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends. Support internal and external audits as needed. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Animal Science, or related field preferred Experience in quality assurance or quality control within a feed mill or related manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of feed manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, AAFCO). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data and generate reports. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
