We are recruiting for a Quality Control Supervisor - Night Shift to join a rapidly growing, highly sophisticated manufacturing operation just north of Richmond, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Supervisor / QC Supervisor / Quality Lead who enjoys being close to production, developing people, solving quality issues in real time, and taking ownership of the quality function during a critical manufacturing shift. The Environment You'll support a growing manufacturing campus producing large-scale, highly engineered modular products for mission-critical infrastructure and data center environments . This is a complex manufacturing and assembly operation where quality, electrical systems, documentation, inspection discipline and adherence to specifications are critical . What You'll Lead Supervise and develop a team of Quality Control Inspectors supporting night-shift manufacturing and assembly operations. Provide hands-on leadership for in-process and final inspections , quality requirements, documentation and issue resolution. Partner closely with Production, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to identify and resolve nonconforming conditions. Ensure inspectors consistently follow established quality standards, drawings, specifications, procedures and inspection requirements . Help investigate quality issues, identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions and defect prevention . Establish accountability while coaching and developing inspectors to strengthen the overall capabilities of the Quality team. Communicate quality concerns, trends and priorities across shifts and ensure effective handoffs to daytime leadership. Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, ownership and continuous improvement throughout the operation. What We're Looking For The successful candidate MUST bring previous experience leading Quality personnel - this is not an individual-contributor inspection position. We're particularly interested in candidates with: Proven experience supervising or leading Quality Inspectors / Quality Technicians Quality experience within a manufacturing, assembly or industrial production environment Strong understanding of quality inspections, nonconformances, corrective actions and root-cause problem solving Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements Experience working closely with Production and Engineering teams Strong leadership, coaching and employee-development skills Excellent documentation, communication and organizational abilities Electrical manufacturing, electrical inspection or electrical systems experience strongly preferred Ability and desire to work a dedicated night shift: 5:00 PM-3:00 AM Why Consider It?
