Quality Team Leads and Quality Technicians/Inspectors The Role The Quality Manager leads the quality function for the Richmond manufacturing facility. This position owns the plant's Quality Management System (QMS), product and supplier quality, audits, corrective actions, quality KPIs, and continuous improvement. You'll lead the quality team and work directly with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and plant leadership to improve quality performance and maintain customer, regulatory, and
ISO 9001
requirements. What You'll Do Lead and develop the plant quality team. Own and maintain the QMS and
ISO 9001
requirements. Lead internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits. Track and improve quality KPIs, including defects, scrap, rework, and cost of quality. Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues. Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Manage the quality department's staffing plan and budget. Report quality performance, risks, and improvement plans to plant leadership. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience considered. 5+ years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing. 2+ years of supervisory or management experience. Experience with
QMS, ISO
9001, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills. ASQ certification and
ISO 9001
lead auditor experience preferred.
