Position Summary Seeking a Sr Manager, Quality Engineer to join the Medicare Stars Tools & Technology team. Member will participates in QA engineering efforts by conducting testing activities, executing test cases, and reporting defects to the development team. Contributes to the development of test plans and testing strategies, ensuring adherence to QA best practices and industry standards. Collaborates with other QA engineers and teams to address testing challenges and provide valuable insights to enhance overall software quality and testing processes. Required Qualifications Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Assesses the effectiveness of critical functions, including test planning, test case development, test execution, and test reporting. Designs a systematic approach for detecting software defects and determining the severity and priority of identified issues. Coaches the quality assurance team to enhance capabilities and reinforce standards in alignment with industry trends and software engineering practices. Conducts most complex evaluations for the quality assurance team to assess the quality of software and applications. Confers with test automation experts to help optimize the quality assurance processes within the software engineering department. Delivers a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that outlines the roadmap, timelines, and standards for software projects. Designs a monitoring system to track project progress and manage expectations to ensure alignment with engineering project goals. Forecasts the resource requirements for quality assurance activities based on project scope, deadlines, and complexity. Helps establish and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the quality assurance initiatives for software projects. Preferred Qualifications Adept at problem solving and decision making skills Adept at collaboration and teamwork Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) preferred. Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience Prior Relevant Work Experience 5-7 years Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $118,450.00

00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
