Job Description
Lead Plant-Wide Quality Excellence Join us to elevate quality performance, safeguard product integrity, and champion Food Safety and GMPs across a fast-paced manufacturing operation. Your Impact Maintain and advance the quality system: inspection and test methods, work instructions, procedures, specifications, GMPs, Food Safety compliance, and best practices. Embed continuous improvement in every process; ensure system adherence and minimize risk to product integrity. Evaluate production and quality data to disposition finished goods against established specs. Act as the primary external customer interface for technical and quality support; build relationships and resolve issues fast. Own root cause investigations and CAPA for customer complaints and internal quality nonconformance's; audit to confirm effectiveness. Collaborate with Commercial, Product Development, and Corporate Engineering on new business opportunities and product trials. Process and close coating and mill supplier defective material claims on time and with precision. Ensure adherence to SMA principles and procedures; lead by example on the floor. Oversee the HFI system (balance, disposition, re-work, inventory control). Guarantee completion of quality procedures and documentation. Translate KPIs into action on the shop floor; implement mechanisms that promote compliance. Coach leads and supervisors in process quality methods and GMPs. Prepare and present quality reviews to management; support special projects with Corporate Quality Assurance. Communicate continuously with all Ardagh Metal Packaging plants; partner with HR on personnel matters; directly supervise plant staff (scope varies). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical or relevant field. Minimum 8 years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in quality. Exceptional leadership, analytical acumen, computer proficiency, and communication skills. Drive, energy, and the ability to solve complex problems beyond routine pathways. Preferred Credentials Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt knowledge. Hands-on experience implementing improvement methods in can manufacturing. Site-Specific Experience Managing self-directed workforces. Core Proficiencies Quality Inspection Experience Food and Beverage Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Quality Control Experience Collaboration Operate at the intersection of Operations, Engineering, Commercial, and Corporate Quality, with routine touchpoints across all Ardagh Metal Packaging locations.
