QUALITY MANAGER
Full-Time | Winchester, VA | On-Site About the Role The Quality Manager will lead our AS9100 and
ISO 9001
Quality Management Systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. This role involves managing the QMS across both facilities, developing and implementing quality improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities 1. Manage and maintain the
AS9100 QMS
at Winchester Tool and the
ISO 9001 QMS
at Fabritek, including: Understanding the requirements of each QMS. Maintaining document control. Driving the nonconforming product and corrective action processes. Establishing metrics for monitoring scrap, rework, and on-time delivery. Monitoring metrics for vendor performance. Planning for and managing the annual registrar audits. 2. Lead the Contract Review process and ensure that records are maintained for compliance to
AS9100. 3.
Conduct internal audits for the
AS9100 QMS
at Winchester Tool and the
ISO 9001 QMS
at Fabritek, including scheduling and leading the internal audit team. 4. Conduct internal audits for compliance to established standard work, including 5S. 5. Develop improvement plans for each building based on audit results. 7. Provide appropriate QMS training for employees to ensure compliance. 8. Conduct process improvement projects as directed by the General Manager. Qualifications Positive attitude. Works well as part of a team. Competence with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Able to follow verbal and written instructions. Able to communicate effectively. Ability to meet deadlines. Experience in quality management or
AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS
