Job Description

Quality Manager We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of our Quality Management System (QMS) and help drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across a precision manufacturing organization. This is an opportunity to play a highly visible role in an organization where your decisions can directly improve processes, strengthen compliance, support customers, and help the business grow. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with AS9100 and a strong understanding of aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing. You'll lead quality-system activities, support audits and certifications, develop the quality team, and partner with operations to identify and solve problems—not simply react to them.   • Lead and maintain the QMS in accordance with
AS9100, ISO
9001, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for certifications, compliance activities, and audit readiness
  • Maintain a proactive approach to risk, compliance, and quality-system effectiveness
  • Lead the internal audit program and turn findings into meaningful process improvements
  • Manage corrective actions and non-conformances, including root-cause analysis, containment, and effective resolution
  • Monitor quality metrics and trends and use data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with operations and other departments to reduce quality risks and improve processes
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians
  • Build a culture focused on ownership, prevention, and continuous improvement
  • Support quality training and help ensure employees understand and follow applicable procedures Maintain Quality & Compliance Systems
  • Oversee calibration activities, including vendor management and documentation
  • Manage document control and ensure procedures, work instructions, and quality records remain accurate and current
  • Support contract reviews, new product/program introductions, and customer-specific requirements
  • Communicate quality risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to operations leadership Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent relevant experience
  • 6+ years of experience working within an AS9100 or similar Quality Management System
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality audits, corrective action, non-conformance management, and QMS compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, solve problems, and drive improvements
  • Previous experience managing or leading a quality team
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor certification
  • Familiarity with
FAR/DFARS
requirements and government-contract quality standards
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and data-driven quality management #GRP2
