Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Food Safety Specialist, where your expertise will be pivotal in safeguarding the integrity of our food products. In this role, you will lead efforts to ensure compliance with food safety standards, implement robust quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help maintain the highest levels of quality control and assurance across our manufacturing processes, ensuring consumer safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality audits throughout the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to food safety protocols. Perform detailed quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications. Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems aligned with industry standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and
ISO 22000.
Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and compliance metrics to inform decision-making and drive corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis for quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions. Maintain meticulous records of quality control activities, audit findings, and corrective actions taken. Support training initiatives to elevate team awareness of quality systems and food safety practices across the organization. Requirements Proven experience in quality audits, quality control, or quality assurance within a manufacturing or food production environment. Strong understanding of quality management principles and systems such as QA/QC protocols, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP standards. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends or issues promptly. Experience with quality inspection techniques and data collection methods to ensure product safety and consistency. Exceptional attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills for documenting findings, conducting training sessions, and collaborating with diverse teams. A relevant degree or certification in Food Science, Quality Management, or related fields is preferred. $52,000.00 - $66,560.00 per year
