Job Description

The Quality Control Supervisor ensures product quality and inventory integrity across the distribution center. This role drives process improvements, reduces errors, and supports operational efficiency while providing leadership to the quality control team. You'll collaborate with corporate quality assurance and warehouse teams to maintain the highest standards of quality for our products. What you'll do Serve as the primary distribution center representative for communicating product quality concerns to corporate QA Collaborate with QA on corrective actions based on inspection results, quality trends, and data analysis Oversee quality control operations, including scheduling, prioritization, and delegation of daily tasks Monitor required materials to support warehouse activities and ensure end-of-month inventory reports are accurate Ensure all inbound materials meet quality standards, reporting discrepancies or damage as needed Supervise open circuit voltage (OCV) validation during inbound receiving Manage scrap and vendor return processes, including proper organization, documentation, and tracking Maintain monthly and annual quality performance metrics and provide summary reports to leadership Delegate tasks while ensuring compliance with quality and safety policies Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to quality control team members Support change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement Assist in the performance evaluation process, including feedback, managing performance issues, and disciplinary participation What powers you Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or related field preferred; minimum 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree Minimum 2 years of experience with battery products and/or quality control Working knowledge of OSHA and ANSI requirements Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to interpret and create reports, procedures, and documentation in multiple formats Flexibility to work varied schedules to meet business needs Why Batteries Plus Join a company committed to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
