Job Description
Director of Quality Our client, a growing manufacturer serving retail, foodservice, QSR, and consumer packaged goods markets, is seeking a Director of Quality to lead enterprise-wide quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing operations. This high-impact leadership role will oversee quality systems, SQF programs, supplier quality, customer requirements, and audit readiness while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Technical teams to ensure product consistency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead company-wide Quality and Food Safety programs, including SQF, GMP, HACCP, SOPs, and document control systems. Manage and develop Quality Managers, SQF leaders, and quality professionals across multiple manufacturing sites. Drive customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, internal standards, and supplier quality programs. Lead customer audits, third-party audits, and site readiness efforts while fostering a strong culture of quality and food safety. Oversee quality testing programs, calibration systems, product specifications, COA reviews, trend analysis, and reporting processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Technical Services, and Supply Chain teams to mitigate risk and support business growth. Support product development trials, process improvements, sustainability initiatives, and customer-facing quality activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Paper Science, Quality Management, or a related technical field preferred. 5+ years of leadership experience in Quality, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or Compliance within a manufacturing environment.
