Position

As a quality control manager you will develop, implement, and manage a Quality Management System (QMS) to identify non-conforming products and processes, identify the root cause, and implement long-term corrective actions with the assistance of quality control technicians under your supervision.

Responsibilities Leads the Quality Control team; ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues, and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity.

Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

Performs root cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify and institute effective corrective actions.

Serves as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.

Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization and drive improvements to the process.

Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring process effectiveness and to assure process capability

Develop, implement, and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspections. Qualification Strong background in the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Experience in root-cause analysis.

Experience using Office products aligning with the review of inspection data, generation of metrics, etc.

Experience in leadership roles, preferred. Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering or related industrial field. 5+ years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer (10+ if associates degree) BBenefits 401k with Company Match After 90 Days
