What You'll Do:
Lead the plant Quality Management System and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. Manage customer, supplier, and internal quality concerns through effective problem solving and corrective actions. Lead quality planning activities, including APQP and new product launches. Oversee supplier quality performance and audit activities. Develop and lead the quality team while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement . Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve plant and customer quality objectives.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field. 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or
ISO 9001
Quality Management Systems. Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Why, and Lean Manufacturing principles. Proven success leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continous improvement projects. Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt or Shinin certification. Experience in automotive manufacturing. Experience with metal forming, cold forming, machining, or similiar manufacturing processes. Knowledge of
ISO 14001
Environmental Management Systems.
You should be proficient in:
Continuous Improvement Statistical process control (SPC) Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) 5 Why (Root Cause Analysis Method) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Supplier Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Kaizen Quality Control Experience
