Job Title:
Quality Control Technician Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The primary role involves inspecting received and outbound production materials, performing leakage tests, and ensuring product conformance through mechanical verification, statistical analysis, and visual inspection. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of received and outbound materials. Perform leakage tests specific to the production process. Utilize drawings, specifications, and measuring equipment for mechanical verification. Prepare product inspection instructions and establish visual inspection reports. Investigate and purge stock of discrepant parts and materials. Assist in determining departmental responsibilities for defect prevention. Support the calibration and maintenance of measuring and test equipment. Assist in the controlled release of urgently needed material prior to completion of receiving activities. Essential Skills Three or more years of previous work experience in inspection or auditing. Proficiency in using a personal computer and software for technical documentation and data analysis. Ability to write reports, chart data, and provide other technical documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in quality control, inspection, visual inspection, quality assurance, and production. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paramount, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/hr.
