Job Description:

This position is responsible for the day to day operation of the quality lab. They are to perform testing and report testing results in a timely and accurate manner. They are to maintain the highest standards in regards to all housekeeping items as well as to all company and safety policies. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Job Functions:

• Responsible for testing and documentation of test results for all finished goods.
• Input all test results into the computer
• Ensure that all testing is being completed thoroughly and accurately
• Work to make sure that the lab is always caught up with production
• Ensure the lab has received all samples and follow up with production about any missing samples.
• Make sure that all testing equipment is properly calibrated and documented
• Prepare and maintain applicable records
• Ensure that all material is entered into inventory timely and accurately
• Ensure that inventory is accurate in the system
• Maintain SOP Documents for all operations in the Quality Lab
• Ensure that all documentation is accurately and professionally completed
• Track designated check sheets in production to ensure compliance and thoroughness of sheets
• Work with Production Team Leaders on any non-compliance
• Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers and co-workers.
• Complete all non-production sample testing and report findings in a timely manner.
• Assist the shipping department with probing clean loads that we receive.
• Assist Management as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stoop ,bend, ascend/descend stairs/ladders, and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Data Entry Experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office products highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to prioritize items and practice good time management skills.

Education/Training/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years prior experience in quality testing preferred.
