Job Description

Investigates customer complaints by obtaining paperwork and samples; interprets data and test samples to determine issues. Assists or writes corrective action reports for the complaint. Interacts with customers Ensures the customer specifications and expectations are current on the production paperwork for the weekly set-up. Manages and loads updated customer specifications into programs. Weekly staging of production paperwork for use on the production floor. Prepares production paperwork folders and files for new sku's. Conduct and prepares inspection reports and documents and maintains detailed records for all incoming ingredients and packaging components. Performs physical monthly audits and issues reports on the hold areas at both facilities. Researches and provides a written report to QA management on issues with on- hold items. Maintains a spreadsheet of all scales from both facilities and audits it monthly. Maintains a spreadsheet of all metal detection test devices (wands, balls and spheres) from both facilities and conducts monthly audits. Prepares and analyses daily QA checks and production coversheets from the ERP system for each production line. Monitors and evaluates the production paperwork for excessive scrap, overpack, etc. Looks for opportunities to improve processes.
