Job Description
Position Overview The CMM Technician is expected to perform CMM inspections and quality gage calibrations in a timely manner and will maintain all gages in an operational state, performing gage repair and preventive maintenance as needed.
Schedule:
Monday Through Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30
PM Pay:
$ 34.50 Per Hour Responsibilities
+ Calibrate CMM per schedule
+ Maintain GageTrak system
+ Calibrate gauging per schedule
+ Maintain Lab cleanliness
+ Perform inspections per schedule & special request
+ Repair & maintain gauges throughout the plant
+ Special projects as requested by supervisor
+ Assure conformance to Navistar Diesel of Alabama and
TS-16949
Quality Standards
+ Interpret layout reports to determine machine adjustments
+ Calibrate handheld gages
+ Create & verify CMM programs
+ Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
+ At least 2 years of CMM programming experience Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
+ Ability to continually stand 10 hours a day; frequently bend, squat, twist, reach above the shoulder, reach forward and walk
+ Ability to work any shift
+ Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and work around a moving assembly line
+ Must achieve an acceptable score on a situational/skills based interview Desired Skills
+ Positive attitude, ethics which support our company's values, and a health, high performance culture + 2 years verifiable experience in a manufacturing lab environment
+ Knowledge of Adcole, surface finish, Tally Round measuring equipment, Optical comparator
+ Machining experience
+ Gage calibration experience
+ DC tool operation & calibration experience
