About Derichebourg Aeronautics Services LLC Derichebourg Aeronautics Services LLC (DAS) is a leading provider of industrial and quality support services for the aerospace sector, delivering expertise to major manufacturers and suppliers across the U.S. and worldwide. Our teams contribute directly to the manufacturing excellence of aircraft components and subassemblies for global OEMs. We are seeking Quality Inspectors (QLS) to support aircraft manufacturing and final assembly operations in Mobile, Alabama. The QLS is responsible for inspecting, certifying, and ensuring product conformity in accordance with applicable engineering and manufacturing documentation, customer requirements, and quality standards. QLS Inspectors may be assigned to different technical specialties depending on experience, qualifications, and operational requirements. These specialties may include Structures, Mechanical, Electrical, Cabin, Paint, Sealant, Engines, or other aerospace manufacturing and quality disciplines.

Main responsibilities:
  • Inspect and verify product conformity in the assigned technical specialty in accordance with applicable documentation and customer requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, work instructions, specifications, and other applicable quality requirements.
  • Monitor manufacturing process execution and verify compliance with approved processes and procedures.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities and discrepancies.
  • Investigate recurring non-conformities and contribute to problem resolution and corrective actions.
  • Participate in quality, production, and cross-functional meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with operators, Production, Quality, Engineering, and customer representatives.
  • Escalate quality issues, blocking points, and significant discrepancies to the appropriate management or quality function.
  • Support customer visits, quality reviews, and aircraft acceptance activities when required.
  • Comply with applicable safety, hygiene, environmental, and working-condition requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience in aerospace quality inspection, aircraft manufacturing, or a comparable industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and/or 3D models.
  • Ability to identify and analyze product and process non-conformities..
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work regular or shift-based schedules depending on production requirements.

Pay:

$32.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
