Job Description

A hotel room inspector evaluates guest rooms to ensure they meet exact brand cleanliness, safety, and operational standards before guest arrival. They coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to guarantee an impeccable guest experience.
Room Evaluation:
Thoroughly inspect 35-40 cleaned guest rooms and bathrooms daily for cleanliness, missing amenities, and proper presentation. [1]
Quality Control:
Identify deficiencies and coordinate with room attendants for immediate touch-ups or corrections. [1, 2]
Maintenance Reporting:
Document damaged or broken items (e.g., fixtures, electronics) and submit work orders to the engineering or maintenance team. [1, 2]
Status Updates:
Communicate real-time room status updates to the front desk and housekeeping leadership via the property management system (PMS). [1, 2, 3]
Staff Coaching:
Provide on-the-spot guidance and training to housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and brand standards. [1, 2]
Inventory Management:

Experience:
Prior experience as a housekeeper, room attendant, or in a hospitality leadership role. Attention to
Detail:
An exceptional eye for identifying dust, stains, and missing amenities.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills to provide constructive feedback to cleaning staff.
Technology:
Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and digital inspection checklists.
Job Type:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
