Description:
The Quality Technician I supports quality control operations through inspection, testing, and documentation activities to ensure all products meet customer and company standards. This entry-level role is responsible for performing routine inspections, recording test data, and maintaining compliance with established quality procedures. The Quality Technician I works closely with production and engineering teams to identify and communicate quality issues while developing foundational skills in inspection techniques and continuous improvement practices.Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications. Use inspection tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and test equipment. Record inspection and test data accurately in accordance with company documentation procedures. Identify and report nonconforming materials or components to the Quality Manager or Production Lead. Maintain inspection records, quality logs, and other documentation to ensure traceability. Support containment and sorting activities as directed by the Quality team. Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and measurement equipment. Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Experience with quality inspection techniques and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity withISO 13485, ISO
9001, or other quality management system standard. Familiarity with measuring equipment and basic inspection methods.QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in quality or manufacturing preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently:
Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.Intermittently:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Frequently:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and performing repetitive physical inspection tasks.Frequently:
Manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed inspection work. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
