Job Description

Certified Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Technician MTA Engineers is seeking a Certified Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Technician to join our team in Springdale, AR . If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, we'd like to hear from you. Job Type Full-time Schedule Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Occasional overtime as needed Work Location In person (Springdale, AR) Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing on asphalt, aggregates, soils, and concrete. Review project plans and specifications to determine appropriate testing methods. Accurately record and communicate test results to the Laboratory Supervisor. Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain calibration records. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory. Coordinate with Field Technicians to ensure efficient workflow between field and laboratory operations. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of Construction Materials Testing experience. High school diploma or GED. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Certifications Current ARDOT, NICET, or equivalent certifications in one or more of the following: Aggregates Asphalt Soils Concrete Requirements Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Excellent attendance and punctuality. Professional and courteous attitude with clients and coworkers. Ability to lift 50+ pounds daily.
