What You Will Do:
The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a 2nd shift Dimensional Inspector. Days/hours are Monday - Friday; 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm This site employs 158. Pratt & Whitney PSD provides the aviation industry with capabilities for specialized repair of gas turbine engine cases and components.
This position is responsible for processing and inspecting a variety of engine cases to determine and verify conformance to work specifications using prints, work instructions, layouts, gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment.
Performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process and final inspections and reporting any discrepancies found during the inspection process.
Working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals, and customer requirements.
Performing work using scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers and indicators.
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, repair manuals and customer requirements.
Experience in aerospace or related industry
