Parker Fasteners is an American cold heading fastener manufacturer specializing in socket cap screws and specialty fasteners and externally threaded fasteners for the Aircraft, Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial Industries, located in Buckeye, AZ. The company has over 150 years of combined fastener experience spanning multiple generations. JOB TITLE
Quality Inspector Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of quality control processes within the aerospace fastener manufacturing industry. Various skills we are looking for:
Inspection and Testing:
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards and specifications.
Documentation:
Accurately document inspection results, non-conformities, and test data, maintaining detailed records for traceability and audit purposes.
Compliance:
Ensure all inspection activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Non-Conformance Management:
Identify, report, and assist in the resolution of non-conforming materials or products, working closely with quality assurance and production teams to implement corrective actions.
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in the use of inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, drop gauges).
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards and regulatory requirements is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
