Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Certified Welding Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across manufacturing and fabrication processes. In this energetic position, you will utilize your expertise to inspect welded components, verify adherence to industry standards, and uphold rigorous quality systems. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence in every project. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive visual and dimensional inspections of welded assemblies using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Verify welding processes against industry standards including AWS (American Welding Society) codes, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations to ensure compliance. Conduct quality audits and assessments within manufacturing environments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to
ISO 9001, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other quality management systems. Utilize advanced measurement tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to assess complex geometries and ensure precise fabrication. Collect data systematically during inspections, document findings accurately, and generate detailed reports for quality assurance records. Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and maintain rigorous quality control standards. Support ongoing calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to guarantee measurement accuracy and reliability. Skills Strong knowledge of welding inspection techniques coupled with familiarity with Calypso software for data management is highly desirable. Expertise in quality systems such as
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and QA/QC protocols ensures thorough understanding of compliance requirements. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs enhances inspection accuracy. Experience conducting quality audits within manufacturing environments helps maintain high standards of product integrity. Ability to analyze inspection data critically supports continuous process improvements and defect prevention strategies. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like FDA regulations and HACCP principles ensures adherence to strict industry standards. Excellent communication skills facilitate effective collaboration across departments to uphold quality assurance initiatives.
