Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Safety and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety within our manufacturing environment. In this energetic position, you will champion compliance with food safety regulations, conduct rigorous quality audits, and uphold stringent quality assurance protocols. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for delivering safe, high-quality food products to consumers worldwide. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence product integrity from raw material inspection through final production, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Duties Perform comprehensive quality audits across all stages of production to verify adherence to food safety standards and quality management systems. Conduct detailed quality inspections, including visual assessments and data collection, to identify deviations from regulatory and internal standards. Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, ASME codes & standards, and other relevant legal requirements in all manufacturing processes. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to document findings, prepare reports, and analyze data trends for continuous process improvement. Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during inspections and enforce safety protocols among team members. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions based on audit results, ensuring swift resolution of quality issues. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspection results, and compliance documentation for regulatory audits. Experience Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing setting, preferably in the food industry. Strong understanding of food safety principles, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and other regulatory compliance standards such as FDA regulations. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data collection and analysis to identify root causes of quality issues. Familiarity with quality systems, GMP practices, and regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to food production. Excellent communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience conducting quality audits and inspections using established protocols and checklists. Knowledge of industry-specific standards such as ASME codes & standards and quality management systems is a plus.
