Job Description:
Job Function As an IPQC Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout the PCBA manufacturing process. This role focuses on SMT in process inspections, component verification, and workmanship compliance to ensure products meet IPC standards. You will perform first article and in process inspections, including component identification, part marking verification, polarity checks, and measurement of electronic components. Inspections are completed using magnification tools such as microscopes and magnifying lenses, along with basic measurement devices. This role requires documenting inspection data accurately and working closely with cross functional teams to resolve quality issues. Experience with AOI systems is strongly preferred. Shift Day or Swing Key Responsibilities
  • Perform SMT in process inspections for electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA assembly
  • Conduct first article inspections including component identification, measurements, and polarity verification
  • Use inspection tools such as microscopes, magnifying lenses, calipers, and color reference tools
  • Follow detailed work instructions, assembly processes, and quality procedures
  • Document inspection results accurately using basic computer systems
  • Operate or support AOI inspection as required Required Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with electronic and mechanical components in a PCBA or contract manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret and apply
