Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Quality Assurance Specialist, First Articles Inspector, to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all first articles and production parts meet strict quality standards by performing precise measurements and inspections in high-paced environment. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to zero defects and continuous improvement within our manufacturing processes. Duties Conduct thorough first article inspections on new or modified parts using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) per

specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Perform routine quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations to identify areas for improvement. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability. Collect and analyze data related to dimensional measurements, quality trends, and inspection results to identify areas for process improvement. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions aligned with regulatory and legal compliance standards. Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports for management review. Requirements Minimum of (3) years of proficiency with measurement instruments such as CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), vision systems, and precision measuring tools. Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or medical device industries. Familiar with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing quality systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and manufacturing documentation accurately. Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) including calibration procedures and quality audits. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for conducting thorough inspections and data collection. Basic math skills necessary for dimensional calculations and measurement verification. Strong communication skills for collaborating effectively across departments to uphold quality standards.
