Job Description

Adecco Staffing is currently seeking an Experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for a fast-growing cannabis-infused beverage manufacturing plant in Desert Hot Springs, CA . This is an excellent
TEMP-TO-HIRE
opportunity for an experienced quality professional looking to grow their career with a dynamic manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and/or Quality Control within a food or beverage manufacturing environment and be comfortable working in a hands-on production setting.
Pay:
$25.00-$30.00/hour |
Weekly Pay Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Overtime:
Must be flexible to work overtime when needed

MANDATORY
Hands-On Production Environment ?? This is a 100% hands-on position, with approximately 80% of the work performed on the production floor. The successful candidate must be comfortable actively working in the manufacturing environment, conducting inspections, collecting samples, reviewing production processes, communicating with production personnel, and addressing quality and food safety concerns in real time. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of Food Safety or Quality Assurance experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment preferred Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety practices Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership and team-building abilities Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to uphold regulatory, company, and customer quality standards Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook CID (Cannabis Industry Badge) is mandatory Cannabis manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required HACCP certification is a plus Knowledge of
SQF, ISO
9001, and
ISO 14001
is a plus Responsibilities Assist with the implementation, verification, validation, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality programs Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support to production and quality personnel Oversee production line inspections and GMP inspections Review production documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance Review, investigate, and assist with the disposition and follow-up of non-conforming products Manage sample collection schedules and review test results Perform trend analysis and assist with corrective action development and documentation Participate in state regulatory audits and assist with corrective action development and implementation Verify compliance with HACCP and preventive controls Assist with investigating customer complaints, internal quality issues, supplier-related concerns, and non-conforming products Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure finished product specifications, work instructions, and quality standards remain current and are effectively communicated to leadership Assist with employee training, onboarding, and verification of training effectiveness Maintain records and files in an organized, accurate, and audit-ready manner Assist with quality testing and inspection activities throughout production Communicate quality, food safety, and compliance concerns promptly to management Support cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout the production environment Perform additional duties as requested by Managers and/or the Director of Manufacturing Why Work for Adecco? Pay Details:
