Job Description

Position Summary:
QP Technologies (formerly Quik-Pak) is a leading provider of microelectronic packaging and assembly, wafer preparation, and substrate design and development services and our service offerings enable our customers to target a range of end markets, including commercial, RF, power, industrial, automotive, medical and mil-aero. The Quality Assurance Inspector will support the Quality Assurance function. Inspect incoming, in-process parts and final assemblies to conform to requirements and task instructions. May use precision measuring instruments to inspect, test or measure materials to determine specifications. May perform data collection and analysis and produce relevant Quality Management System (QMS) metrics and reports.
Essential Duties:
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical components, subassemblies and final assemblies using visual inspection protocol
  • Generate Certificates of Compliance
  • Follow QA task instructions and the QMS
  • Evaluate quality of materials or product
  • Maintain all necessary paperwork and quality records
  • Meets schedule, quality, and quantity requirements in an organized manner Other Duties & Responsibilities (Optional)
  • Assist production personnel in complying with all relevant aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook email
  • Must be able to read/write in English
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Experience using digital multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and microscope
  • Good manual hand dexterity
  • Must be a

  • Must be able to effectively communicate
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in a contract manufacturing environment
  • Experienced in working with ISO 9001 and ITAR environments

Certified Work Environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Will wear common ESD and protective equipment as necessary. This position is in an indoor, environmentally controlled cleanroom.
