General Position Overview and/or
Requirements:
Inspects, calibrates, validates, and monitors products with thermometers, weight scales, metal detectors, and material handling equipment. Assures compliance of HACCP systems through testing, validations, and verifications. Ensures that products meet the required standards through inspection of ingredients, packaging and finished products. Perform pre-operational/operational inspections to assure compliance with sanitation standard. Takes immediate action as necessary to correct observed food safety violations Responsible for controlling quality on the production floor Ensures that products meet the required standards through inspection of ingredients, packaging and finished products Participate and contributes in audits Ensure compliance with specifications, including pallet IDs, allergen tags, lot coding, and physical attributes.
