Quality Inspector Job Description Join our team as a Quality Inspector, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products. You will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the compliance of purchased parts and subassemblies with all purchase order and drawing requirements. Your keen attention to detail will help maintain the integrity of our assembled hardware. Responsibilities Perform receiving and inspection of purchased parts and subassemblies to verify supplier compliance with all purchase order, specification, and drawing requirements. Conduct dimensional inspections using hand-held instruments to measure parts and assemblies according to drawing requirements. Perform in-process inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements, verify accuracy of entries on data sheets, work orders, adhesive mixes, and other data-keeping systems. Conduct final inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements and liaise with the program Quality Engineer to report quality problems or findings. Assist Quality Engineering and Operations in investigating non-conformities. Accurately document the results of inspections. Review quality of work orders prior to closure to verify count and condition of parts or assemblies, completeness of operations, accuracy of kit lists, correct labeling of parts, and assist the Quality Engineer as needed to collect data for the assemblies End Item Data Package. Perform source inspections at sub-tier suppliers. Essential Skills Knowledge of aerospace systems, methodology, and terminology. Familiarity with

AS9100 / ISO9001

requirements. Proficiency in documenting product quality through paper and electronic systems including Word, Excel, and web-based systems. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in an environment with competing priorities. Understanding of calibration systems and internal controls associated with calibration. Additional Skills & Qualifications Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Occasional work in confined spaces and heights of 30 ft. or more in a scissor lift. Occasional travel up to 5-10% for project testing. Work Environment The position is located in a manufacturing setting where you will be conducting inspections. The role may occasionally require working in confined spaces and at heights, as well as traveling up to 5-10% for project testing. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goleta, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
