Full Job Description Overview:

Herbalife at Lake Forest has been recognized by the OC Register for our exceptional workplace culture, and we're looking for a dedicated Lab Technician, Quality Technical services to help us maintain our world-class standards. The Lab Technician will support process engineering tasks. These tasks require a basic understanding of laboratory practices, mathematical, scientific principles, and encompass a variety of responsibilities ranging from maintaining raw material inventory, preparing benchtop samples, supporting pilot/plant trials, and performing physical testing for raw material and finished goods How You'll Make an Impact Laboratory Execution As required and under supervision, execute bench samples, pilots, process scale-up verifications by recording results in laboratory notebook, protocol, and/or batch records. Raw Materials & Inventory Procure raw materials from suppliers and production warehouse. Maintain raw material documentation. Maintain laboratory workspace and equipment in a clean and orderly state. Ensure all raw materials and laboratory supplies are properly tracked and in inventory. Testing & Data Management Perform basic chemical, physical and product performance tests on raw materials and finished products. Record and publish results. Enter sample information into logs, coordinate sample registrations and collect data from QC as needed. Equipment & Maintenance Work with maintenance department/equipment suppliers to ensure the completion of preventative maintenance, calibration, repairs of lab equipment. Documentation & Systems Support documentation activities; create Agile change requests for new Item Master entries (i.e. Raw material, Formula and Premix numbers) in Oracle. Generate simple changes to packaging master batch records in the Electronic Batch Record (EBR) system. Additional duties as assigned. Team Dynamics Members of the Technical Services team bring outstanding background experiences. Each teammate is always learning multiple facets of the business, from development through commercialization.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
Experience 2-4 years experience in a lab or in a similar environment. Education High School Diploma and/or Associate degree Skills/Certifications Ensure that tasks are delivered in a timely, accurate, and organized manner. Ability to work on several projects at a time.
