Shift:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30pm

Los Alamitos, CA Pay Range:

$21.00hr

Purpose:

The Fit Up Assistant is responsible for washing and preparing all bearing for inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning, washing and handling all components and bearings Properly loading and staking of retainer tangs Marking specialized identification marks such as X marks Recognize race condition through IRC Accuracy of visual checks for surface defects and dimensional conformance to specifications May assist in other areas not described as we flex associates to busy areas if their work slows Follow Quality procedures, work instructions, and shop travelers Safety and attention to detail to prevent injury to self and others

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR Requirements High School Diploma or GED is

REQUIRED

Experience with bearing inspection Aptitude in basic to advanced shop math Experience or aptitude for reading gauges Strong communication & interpersonal skills Demonstrated computer aptitude Problem Solving Self-motivated team player Fit up Prep - Standing 60% of time andwalking between departments, picking up orders.

$21.00 per hour
