Job Summary Perform quality inspections of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical medical device products and components. Use inspection tools, drawings, specifications, and testing equipment to identify defects and ensure products meet quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products. Inspect electronic units, electromechanical assemblies, mechanical components, and subassemblies. Use micrometers, dial indicators, scales, fixtures, and other measuring/testing equipment. Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning products. Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions. Perform line clearances between production lots. Monitor quality using statistical process and other quality-control procedures. Support manufacturing and distribution operations including assembly, processing, packaging, inventory, and shipping/receiving. Identify machine malfunctions and report abnormalities. Document quality concerns and communicate issues to internal teams. Provide guidance and assistance to new or entry-level employees. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of production/manufacturing systems and procedures. Experience with inspection methods, measuring equipment, and quality processes. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions. Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with moderate supervision and follow detailed instructions. Vocational/technical training or certification may be required. Education & Experience Vocational/technical education or certification with relevant experience OR University degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
