Furniture Quality Control Inspector Fast-growing Transportation company - a specialist in the Last Mile Home Delivery field, seeks an experienced paraprofessional with expertise in Final Mile and with a strong skill set in operations, dispatching, and customer service. This position will assist the Operations Manager and or Lead Warehouse Associate at the site operation and will be responsible for scanning, handling returns, pre-delivery inspections, working with delivery contractors and responding to client and customer requests. Work schedule : 5-6 days a week / Mon- Sat / 9am to 6pm / Must be able to work most Saturdays.

Qualifications:

A Quality Control Inspector uses their training, soft skills and specialized knowledge during their furniture line inspections. They make sure that products are made to the standards by studying their industry regulations. A successful Quality Control Inspector candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include: Dock Quality Control Inspector education and training requirements Qualified candidates have experience of working in the same or similar industry of home decor i.e. furniture. Qualifications:

• Proficiency in inventory management techniques and systems 1+ year.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of packaging standards and order picking procedures.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 100 lbs.).
• Safely walk and stand for extended periods on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled.
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary. evious (phone) dispatch experience 1+ year.
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel.
