In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise calibration and maintenance of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and related industrial measurement equipment. Your expertise will ensure our measurement systems operate at peak accuracy, supporting quality assurance and manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Perform calibration, inspection, and maintenance of CMMs using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and laser trackers. Read and interpret electrical schematics, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), schematics, and electrical blueprints to troubleshoot system issues effectively. Conduct electrical diagnostics on equipment including sensors, vision inspection systems, distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial controls. Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify root causes of malfunctions or inaccuracies. Maintain detailed calibration records, service logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with industry standards. Assist in programming and adjusting calibration software such as Calypso or similar engineering tools to optimize system performance. Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure all work complies with safety regulations during maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial electrician work or industrial maintenance with a focus on electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience working on pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, sensors, and low voltage electrical systems. Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, schematics, and electrical blueprints essential for troubleshooting complex equipment. Hands-on experience calibrating precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, sensors, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of industrial automation including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and electrical instrumentation. Ability to interpret engineering troubleshooting procedures and perform equipment maintenance efficiently. Experience working with calibration software like Calypso or similar platforms is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients.
