R&D Technician -
Materials Compatibility Location:
Pomona, CA | 100%
Onsite Pay:
$28-$30/hour, based on relevant skills and experience
Type:
Six-month contract; potential to extend or convert to full time based on performance and business needs
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Kelly Engineering is seeking an R&D Technician to support hands-on materials compatibility testing in a healthcare-product laboratory. This is a great opportunity for someone with laboratory experience who enjoys detailed, practical work and wants to build experience in R&D and product development. What You'll Do Perform hands-on material compatibility testing on plastics and medical-device materials. Follow established test protocols and document experiments, observations, and results accurately. Prepare reports, methods, and SOPs. Support lab operations, including ordering materials, reagents, samples, and shipping. Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment. Must-Haves Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field. Hands-on experience in a chemistry, materials, or engineering laboratory. Comfortable performing repetitive, protocol-driven testing. Strong written documentation skills and basic Microsoft Excel proficiency. Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks. Able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally. Able to work fully onsite in Pomona, CA. Why Consider This Opportunity Weekly pay. $28-$30/hour based on relevant skills and experience.
