Research Assistant

Description Job Responsibilities:

• Perform or supervise technical staff in the performance of: o Trial site selection and plot layout. o Equipment calibration and test material application. o Sampling and/or evaluation of residue and/or efficacy trials. o Packing and shipping of study-related samples.
• Primary responsibilities: o Review and be familiar with study protocol requirements.

o Site characterization sampling and shipping.

o Facility upkeep:

organization, cleaning, supplies inventory control. o Train research technicians. o Recognize situations when Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures or protocol requirements may not be able to be met and immediately communicate those situations to supervisory staff. o Document trial activities in appropriate study or facility logbooks. o Prepare and review raw data packages for submission to the Quality Assurance Unit for audit at trial completion. o Assist with written report summaries. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
