Job Title:
Complaints Investigation Technician Job Description The Complaints Investigation Technician is responsible for conducting routine inspections of materials and products using established procedures and basic measurement tools. This role involves documenting inspection results clearly and accurately within the Quality Management System and assisting with investigations for nonconformances, deviations, and customer complaints. Responsibilities Perform routine incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products. Document inspection results clearly and accurately within the Quality Management System. Assist with investigations for nonconformances, deviations, and customer complaints by gathering data, reviewing records, and supporting root cause analysis activities. Help initiate and track quality records such as NCRs, deviations, and CAPAs. Support preparation for internal and external audits by organizing documentation and retrieving records. Review batch records, sterilization logs, and process documentation for completeness. Collaborate with Operations and Quality team members to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts. Follow all applicable FDA, ISO, and GMP requirements to maintain compliance. Essential Skills 0-2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, laboratory, or related regulated environment. Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and basic technical documentation. Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, gauges, or scales. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation. Basic understanding of quality concepts such as nonconformances, defects, and inspection criteria. Good communication skills and willingness to learn quality systems and investigation processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Troubleshooting skills. Experience in GMP, medical devices, or laboratory settings. Work Environment This is an onsite role at the Richmond, CA facility, requiring work 5 days a week. The role may involve standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25-40 lbs. Work is performed in controlled manufacturing or sterilization environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
