Job Description
Machine Operator - Metal ProductionJob SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our growing metal production team. The Machine Operator will operate production machinery used to manufacture metal components while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production machinery and equipment. Load and unload metal materials into machines. Set up machines according to production instructions and specifications. Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensions, and defects. Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges as required. Read and follow work instructions, production drawings, and specifications. Make basic machine adjustments to maintain product quality. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Identify machine or product issues and report them to the supervisor. Assist with material handling and other general production duties as needed. Meet daily production and quality goals. QualificationsPrevious machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred. Metal fabrication or metal production experience is a plus. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic understanding of measurements and dimensions. Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work around machinery, metal materials, and production equipment. Must be able to follow all required safety and PPE procedures. KPG123
