WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Quality Assurance Specialist conducts on-site quality assurance inspections in the homes of the clients we support. This position is responsible for making sure that our agency is meeting internal policies and procedures as well as maintaining compliance with state and federal laws, regional center contracts, and person-centered practices when it comes to the homes of the people we support. This position will conduct on-site quality assurance checks and audits, interviews, and is required to meet a variety of documentation requirements both internally and for different outside entities. The Quality Assurance Specialist plays an important part in making sure that the developmentally disabled adults we serve are living full, independent lives in their own homes!
Other duties include:
Assisting with on-site training for staff Completing, reviewing and submitting Special Incident Reports and Adult Protective Services reports to the appropriate parties as needed Compiling and presenting a variety of reports and data sets Directing staff as needed and providing objective feedback and corrective action And much more!
Qualified applicants:
Must be 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or Certificate of Completion May be required to provide CA Driver License, current auto insurance, and maintain a clear Motor Vehicle Record for positions that require driving Must have American Sign Language skills (moderate to fluent) Minimum one year of experience in Supported Living Services field or related field(s) The rate of pay for this position ranges from $28-$30 per hour.
SCHEDULE
This position operates Monday-Friday from 8:30a-5p out of our Roseville location and is required to flex worked hours to accommodate client home visits during the weekend as directed. Weekday hours will be adjusted to accommodate weekend hours.
LOCATION
The Quality Assurance Specialist operates out of our Roseville office location and is required to be on-site in the greater Sacramento, Yuba, Sutter, and Placer county areas. This is not a remote position, it is required to be on-site as directed in our catchment areas.
